Our Attorney, Patrick (Pat) Donovan, graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2013, receiving undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Psychology. After working for a few years, Pat continued his education at Penn State Law, where he graduated in 2019. He graduated cum laude and was inducted into the Woolsack Honor Society. In law school, Pat was on the Jeffrey G. Miller Environmental Law Moot Court Team and was the secretary for the Environmental Law Society. Currently, Pat is the Treasurer of the Public Interest Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
After graduating from Law School, Pat worked at the Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office. At the District Attorney’s Office, he tried misdemeanor and felony cases in front of judges and juries. Additionally, Pat worked in Philadelphia’s Legal Clinic for the Disabled, where he assisted in eviction prevention for socioeconomically disadvantaged Philadelphians. In that role, he appeared in front of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, the Fair Housing Commission, and the Philadelphia Municipal Court. In both jobs, he learned how to effectively prepare and present cases, which leads him to his success today at The Halpern Law Firm.
Originally from Massachusetts, Pat is currently residing in Philadelphia, PA, with his wife. In their free time, they enjoy going to concerts, museums, and hiking.
